Video: Iranian Raw Materials Used in Armenian Dairy Production, Kerobyan

The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, addressed the statement made yesterday by the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), which indicated that Russia would consider limiting dairy supplies from Armenia due to certain violations that have been identified.

"I do not think there is any political subtext here, they just want high standards," noted Kerobyan.

In response to a comment regarding the announcement coming after the Constitutional Court's ruling on the Rome Statute, the minister stated that he could not say anything about that.

Nonetheless, Vahan Kerobyan acknowledged that Iranian raw materials are used in Armenian dairy production. "Sometimes we grant privileges to companies to import Iranian dairy cream. We need to discuss all this with our partners. We will find solutions at the working level," he added.
