Ministry of Finance Involves in Jhangiryan's Pension Case
The daily newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that the Ministry of Finance has intervened in the pension case of former Supreme Judicial Council President Gagik Jhangiryan and has been involved as a third party by court order.
So, what court case are we talking about? "Zhoghovurd" previously wrote that Gagik Jhangiryan submitted a lawsuit to the court against the Unified Social Service of the Republic of Armenia on December 27, 2022, requesting the court to oblige the Unified Social Service to accept the decision on granting him a prosecutor's pension.
At the same time, he demands the annulment of the letter from the Secretary General of the Unified Social Service dated December 5, 2022, and the decision dated October 4, 2022, which denied him the pension. In other words, the Unified Social Service has refused to grant the former president of the Supreme Judicial Council a prosecutor's pension, and now he is trying to restore his right to a pension through the court.
