Andranik Kocharyan: Serzh Sargsyan Is Not Correct

Why don’t we deny Serzh Sargsyan’s statements that we haven’t acquired any weapons since 2018, if that is not the case? In response to a journalist’s question in the H1 studio, Andranik Kocharyan, the head of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Defense and Security, said, “Why should we? There are denials at different levels; I do not follow the denials.”

In response to the observation that Sargsyan even listed the names of weapons, claiming how much heavy weaponry we had received before 2018, Kocharyan stated, “It should be clear to the public whether we had those weapons before 2018, whether we used them, and if so, why we didn’t achieve effectiveness. Whatever we had was utilized; what he says was not used is simply not true.”

It is worth recalling that earlier the third President of Armenia mentioned that Serzh Sargsyan had listed what weapons were in the Armenian army in response to Prime Minister Pashinyan's claims.
