Today, during a meeting of the Armenian government, Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced that both the 150 "Zhongtong" buses produced in China and the 87 "MAN" buses manufactured in Europe have already been imported to Armenia and are now in Yerevan. All buses are provided with drivers who are waiting for the completion of the customs clearance process to hit the routes.

“This will happen in approximately 20 days to 1 month, as we need to expand this decision. After expanding, this decision will also apply to the MAN buses,” said Avinyan.

The deputy mayor reminded that they had previously promised to put the MAN buses on the route starting from March 1, but the timeline for the project has been extended, for which he asked for the forgiveness of the residents of Yerevan.
