EU Calls for Strict Restraint to Prevent Further Escalation: Klaar
Following the deadly incident that occurred 10 days ago, reports of frequent ceasefire violations along the contact line and international border have raised concerns. This was stated by the EU Special Representative Toivo Klaar on his Twitter account.
He emphasized that the EU strongly calls for restraint to prevent any further escalation. “As has been reiterated several times, the EU also reaffirms its call for the full restoration of freedom and security of movement through the Lachin Corridor, ensuring uninterrupted supplies of gas and electricity in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as reliable telecommunications services,” he wrote.
