VIDEO: Alen Simonyan on Ruben Vardanyan's Dismissal from Minister of State Position

I am glad that we are gradually coming to a situation where the legitimate representatives of Artsakh are negotiating with Azerbaijan and making decisions by themselves, allowing us to separate the leadership of Artsakh and Armenia. This was stated today, February 28, during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, commenting on the contacts and negotiations between Azerbaijan and Artsakh.

Regarding Ruben Vardanyan's dismissal from the position of Minister of State of Artsakh, Alen Simonyan noted, "As Armenia did not have a position during his appointment, it also does not have one regarding his dismissal. I do not know what motives led the President of Artsakh to appoint Mr. Vardanyan, nor do I know the reasons for his dismissal. Araik Harutyunyan and Ruben Vardanyan have provided their comments, and the Armenian authorities have had no involvement in either the appointment or the dismissal and have no interest in the matter."
