Russian Foreign Ministry Condemns Israeli Strikes on Syrian Territory

The Russian Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the Israeli strikes on Syrian territory. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

“We strongly condemn the use of force by Israel, which is a gross violation of international law norms. We call on the Israeli side to cease its armed provocations against Syria and to refrain from actions that could have dangerous consequences for the entire region,” said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Zakharova noted that the continuation of such reprehensible practices is absolutely unacceptable, especially in conditions where many countries of the world, including Russia, are actively assisting Syria in overcoming the consequences of the devastating earthquake by sending their rescue workers, doctors, and humanitarian aid.

It is reminded that the Israeli Air Force has struck Syrian territory. Preliminary data indicate that five people have been killed and 15 others injured.
