Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Issues Statement on EC Urgent Resolution Regarding Lachin Corridor
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has issued a statement expressing regret over the declaration made by the Chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe regarding the ongoing blockade of the Lachin Corridor, which has lasted for nearly a month.
The Ministry also stated that it "does not understand such an attitude towards peaceful protests on the Lachin road" and emphasized that holding protests is the right of Azerbaijani citizens and should be respected.
It should be recalled that the Council of Europe has adopted an urgent resolution regarding the consequences of the blockade in Nagorno-Karabakh.
