Intent to Send CSTO Mission to Armenia-Azerbaijan Border Still in Effect, Lavrov
The intention to send a Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) mission to the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is still in effect. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a press conference dedicated to the results of Russian diplomacy in 2022.
“We are still ready to send a CSTO mission to the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” TASS agency quotes his statement.
Lavrov added that the EU mission at the Azerbaijan-Armenia border could be counterproductive if Baku does not agree to it.
