Russia May Supply Fighters to Iran
Russia may supply fighters to Iran in exchange for Shahed drones. This was reported by Radio Free Europe. According to Israeli media, citing Western intelligence sources, Iran could acquire 24 Su-35 fighter jets in return for supplying hundreds of kamikaze drones.
As newsru.co.il reminds, Moscow originally intended to sell these aircraft to Egypt. After the deal was thwarted by the U.S. administration, it was decided to supply the Su-35s to Iran. Previously, Russian authorities had made unsuccessful attempts to sell the same aircraft to Algeria and Indonesia.
