Russian Peacekeepers Not Fully or Adequately Fulfilling Their Responsibilities: Student Protests Continue
As reported, students have submitted a petition to the Government urging measures to open the road connecting Artsakh to Armenia. They expect to receive a response within 1-2 weeks.
In an interview with journalists, one student, when asked why the petition did not include an assessment of the Russian peacekeepers' activities, stated: “When we appeal to the UN Security Council, we are already expressing our position. We want to show that due to the incomplete and inadequate performance of their functions, we are compelled to appeal to the UN Security Council and expect that there should be an observation mission in Artsakh.”
Another student also noted that the Russian peacekeeping forces are not fully fulfilling their responsibilities.
