‘Jalal Harutyunyan Obtained Approval for Counteraction Decision from the Prime Minister,’ Says Arsen Sargasyan

The former Minister of Defense of Artsakh, Jalal Harutyunyan's lawyer, Arsen Sargasyan, presented details regarding the initiated criminal case during a press conference.

When asked about the counteroffensive operation that took place on October 7, 2020, and regarding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statements made on Facebook—initially stating it was a military counteraction, then editing it to describe it as an anti-terror operation—Sargasyan responded, “I do not have information whether the Prime Minister has been interrogated or not, but as the Supreme Commander, he has certainly been informed about the conceptualization and has received approval.”
