Images: Attack on Iranian Fuel Trucks, Explosions Reported
Reports from Iraqi sources indicate that several explosions have been heard near the Iraq-Syria border, with fighter jets and helicopters flying over the border zone. It has been noted that a drone targeted the area and certain positions of resistance groups. Official sources have yet to confirm this news. There are claims that these attacks were carried out by the United States.
Media sources assert that the targets of this assault were Iranian fuel trucks heading towards Lebanon. Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in Baghdad also reported that the airstrike on the border points in Syria, which targeted several oil tankers, occurred after the convoy crossed into Syrian territory. He added that there is currently no confirmed information regarding casualties from the airstrike. It has also been reported that the attack was conducted using a drone. Preliminary data indicates that two oil tankers were hit during the assault, but there are no reported casualties.
