Ruben Vardanyan Receives Extensive Powers in Artsakh
According to the newspaper "Hrabarak," there are expectations in Artsakh regarding whether Prime Minister Ruben Vardanyan will be able to part ways with Hayk Khanumyan. An investigation is underway concerning abuses within the ministry led by Khanumyan, and months ago the Prosecutor General had recommended his dismissal; however, this did not occur due to his support from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Ruben Vardanyan has received extensive powers from the President of Artsakh and has not hidden that he aims to form his own team. He has appointed Mesrop Arakelyan, the leader of the "Country to Live" party, as his advisor, and there are speculations that he will soon be appointed as the Minister of Social Affairs.
Additionally, discussions are underway regarding a change in the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (ESCS), with Deputy Minister Lernik Hovhannisyan being a potential candidate.
