Zelensky Announces Meeting on Energy Supply Issues

Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that a strategic meeting was held regarding energy supply issues. "A strategic meeting took place concerning the security of energy supply facilities. We discussed necessary measures to eliminate the consequences of disruptions in the Ukrainian energy system. We are preparing for various scenarios of potential consequences," he said on his Telegram channel.

It is assumed that the authorities are working on the establishment of mobile food stations for the vital infrastructure of cities and villages. Earlier, Zelensky announced that 30% of power plants in Ukraine had been destroyed, resulting in mass power outages across the country.

Attacks by Russian armed forces on Ukrainian infrastructure began a week ago on October 10, two days after a terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, which Russian authorities claim was orchestrated by Ukrainian special services. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the explosion on the bridge has placed Kyiv at the level of the most notorious terrorist groups, and "such crimes simply cannot go unanswered."
