Earthquake 10 km Northwest of Kajaran
On September 13, at 22:24 local time (18:24 GMT), an earthquake was recorded by the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia at geographical coordinates 39.23° N latitude and 46.08° E longitude, 10 km northwest of the city of Kajaran, at a depth of 10 km, with a magnitude of 2.7.
The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral zone was measured at 3-4 points. The earthquake was felt in the cities of Kapan and Kajaran, as well as in several other settlements, with a magnitude intensity of 3-4 points.
