Negotiations with Russia are currently impossible due to their inadequate stance, says Vladimir Zelensky
Negotiations regarding the end of the war with Russia are currently impossible because the Russian side cannot formulate an adequate position. This was stated by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
“We want to end the war, but the territory and opportunities have changed. Society does not want to talk to terrorists,” he said, adding that there is no confidence that the Russian side will fulfill its promises.
As Zelensky noted, it is necessary for Russia to withdraw from Ukrainian territories and cease to act as a terrorist; only then can discussions about opening a “diplomatic corridor” take place.
