Video: After the Handover of Berdzor, the Artsakh-Armenia Connection is Facilitated by a New Road
After the handover of Berdzor, the connection between Artsakh and Armenia is now facilitated by a new road. The newly constructed roadway is over 21 kilometers long and 11 meters wide, passing through Mets Shen, continuing to Hin Shen, and extending up to the bridge built over the Agavno River.
Subsequently, the new route will reach the village of Kornidzor in the Syunik region, from where it will continue to Tegh and connect with the main highway leading to Goris.
Until the construction of the main road in the Armenian section is completed, the Artsakh-Armenia road connection will operate via a 4.7-kilometer already asphalted section, which bypasses Agavno and connects to the Stepanakert-Goris highway.
