What Issues Will Putin and Erdogan Discuss in Sochi? Peskov Provides Details
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet in Sochi on August 5, where they will discuss the situations in Syria and Ukraine, as well as issues related to grain exports, announced Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
“Friday will be Erdogan's working visit; negotiations between the two presidents will take place in Sochi. Discussions with the Turkish president will focus on bilateral cooperation. This will include talks on the economy, regional issues, as well as matters concerning Syria and Ukraine. It is also a good opportunity to address the effectiveness of the grain export mechanism from Ukrainian ports and to exchange views on global issues,” Peskov stated.
