Ukrainian Army Supported by Secret Network of Spies and Special Forces
The Ukrainian army is receiving assistance from a secret network of spies and special forces from the United States and its allies. According to The New York Times, dozens of commandos and intelligence agents from various NATO member countries are helping the Ukrainian armed forces by providing intelligence data.
The report states that commandos from the United Kingdom, France, Canada, and Lithuania are supplying Ukrainian soldiers with weapons and intelligence data, as well as training them. It is noted that they are operating within Ukrainian territory. Since the start of the Russian military operation, they have either remained in Ukraine or left for a time and then returned.
However, the article points out that much of the secret work carried out by NATO countries takes place outside Ukraine, in locations such as Germany, France, and British bases.
The New York Times also stated that Kyiv is reliant on the assistance of the United States and its allies. In addition, several CIA personnel are reported to be working within Ukrainian territory, despite assurances from U.S. President Joe Biden that there would be no American troops in Ukraine.
