The suspended president of the Supreme Judicial Council, Ruben Vardazaryan, during a press conference, released a recording from a conversation that took place on February 20, 2021, between him, Gagik Jhangiryan—acting president of the Supreme Judicial Council—and Supreme Judicial Council member Stepan Mikayelyan.
"Listen and understand why I have become a target, and why a political decision has been made that I should not work in the position of president of the Supreme Judicial Council," Vardazaryan said addressing journalists.
