Greece Sends Ukraine 'Incredible Amount' of Weapons
The Greek authorities have transferred an "incredible amount" of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine and are still preparing to send more, local news portal Pro News reports, citing its own sources.
The list of armaments published by the outlet includes 122 BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles, 60 FIM-92 Stinger MANPADS, 32,000 artillery and rifle rounds, 1,100 anti-tank shells, 2,100 missiles, 20,000 Kalashnikov assault rifles, and 32 million cartridges.
According to the portal, the weapons are coming from the stores of the Greek army located on islands. Greek, Canadian, and New Zealand transport aircraft have been used for their transfer.
