2 Million Dollars Allocated from Budget for Launch of Public TV's New News Channel: 'Zhoghovurd'
'Zhoghovurd' daily reports that, according to the 2022 budget, more than 6 billion drams have been allocated to the Public Television Company (6 billion 327 million drams). This figure was provided to the newspaper by the Ministry of Finance.
The public relations department of the television company informed 'Zhoghovurd': 'Last year, an additional 427 million drams were allocated to the Public Television Company for the launch of the First News Channel.' This means that the separate operational news website and news block of Public Television have received an additional amount of about 430 million drams from the state, combined with the commercial and advertising aspects, from which Public Television benefits abundantly following the amended law. It turns out that approximately up to 1 billion drams (2 million dollars) is being spent solely for the new news channel of Public Television.
