Everyone Wants to Avoid Direct Collision Between Russia and NATO, but Moscow is Ready to Respond to Any Side: Peskov
Everyone wants to avoid a direct collision between Russia and NATO, but at the same time, Moscow is ready to respond decisively to any party that attempts to enter the special operation in Ukraine, said Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian president.
“Everyone wants to avoid a direct collision between Russia and NATO, including Russia. This has been stated many times in NATO, and I believe, most importantly, in Washington. Among them, at the highest level, such statements have been made by President Biden. This is what everyone would like to avoid. The fact that Russia will be ready to give the most decisive response to any side trying to somehow enter Ukraine and engage in the special military operation currently conducted by the Russian Armed Forces,” Peskov told reporters, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Peskov reminded that these statements from the President of the Russian Federation are well-known. “And we primarily proceed from these statements,” he added.
