Macron and Zelensky's Phone Call Postponed
The phone call between French President Emmanuel Macron and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky will take place on Saturday, rather than Friday as previously announced by the French President himself. This information was reported by BFM TV, citing a source from the Élysée Palace, as reported by TASS.
The exact time of the call has not yet been confirmed.
On Friday, Macron told reporters during his visit to the Haute-Pyrénées region that he intended to have a conversation with Zelensky on Friday evening. He did not specify which topics he planned to discuss with the Ukrainian president, but noted that the situation in Ukraine remains a cause for concern.
On the same day, the spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry, Anne-Claire Legendre, stated that the French President does not rule out the possibility of a visit to Ukraine, but believes that the time for such a visit has not yet come.
