VIDEO: We Are Not Sacrificial Lambs, We Are Not a Pen, We Are a Country - Pashinyan Erupts

In the National Assembly, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the Armenian authorities have not decided whether there will be war or not.

“We have not decided whether there will be war or not. We have not decided anything. I stand here today at the podium to say that no, Armenia is a sovereign state. And we must return the right to decide to ourselves because we are a country. We are not a pen; we are a country. We are citizens, we are not sacrificial lambs that decisions are made elsewhere about how and how much we are to be slaughtered or forgiven. We are a state, we are a nation. We are sovereign. Yes, we are proud, yes we are suffering, but we have dignity. And we will not allow our right to decide to be taken away from us through manipulation that offers us models of patriotism,” said Pashinyan in his concluding speech in the National Assembly.

The Prime Minister emphasized that he will not allow future generations to be kept in the status of sacrificial lambs.
