The Price of Compressed Natural Gas Rises by Over 20-30 Drams
The price of compressed natural gas increased yesterday, as informed by gas station employees in an interview with the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd'. According to them, the price of one liter of compressed natural gas has risen by over 20-30 drams.
As of yesterday, in some gas stations across Armenia, one liter of compressed natural gas was sold for 350-360 drams, compared to 320-330 drams just days ago.
It is possible that this price increase will also affect passenger transport fares. Moreover, some taxi drivers—most of whom use compressed natural gas—have taken this opportunity to raise transport fares.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that as of April 1, the gas price for regular consumers increased by 4.7 drams, reaching 143.7 drams. Furthermore, for consumers using more than 10,000 cubic meters of gas per month, the price for businesses will rise by 3.9%, while it will increase by 4.5% for greenhouse farms.
