Symptoms of Poisoning Reported Among Russian-Ukrainian Negotiators
Symptoms of poisoning have been reported among Roman Abramovich and Ukrainian negotiators. This is reported by the BBC, referencing the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) and Bellingcat.
Roman Abramovich, who is participating in ceasefire negotiations from the Russian side, and members of the Ukrainian delegation experienced symptoms of poisoning earlier this month following a meeting in Kyiv. Shortly thereafter, Bellingcat, recognized as a "foreign agent" in Russia, confirmed the information on its Twitter account.
Reports from Wall Street Journal correspondents indicate that Abramovich and two members of the Ukrainian delegation exhibited redness of the eyes, tearing, and peeling skin on the face and hands. Their condition later improved, and there was no threat to their lives. A spokesperson for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he was unaware of such an incident.
