Russia Imposes Sanctions Against Biden's Deceased Father, Says White House Spokesperson

The White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki humorously remarked that the new sanctions imposed by Russia are actually targeting the deceased father of the current U.S. President, as reported by donpress.com.

According to the news outlet, Psaki pointed out that the current president is Joe Biden Jr., while Joe Biden refers to his late father. Just yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced sanctions against a group of American officials, including Psaki, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

However, the official Russian document does not include the term "Jr." alongside the President's name. “I should note that President Biden is a junior, and that is why they have imposed sanctions against his father. May his soul be illuminated,” Psaki told reporters.
