Have Senior Officials Relocated Their Families from Artsakh to Armenia? NSS Comments on the Information
The National Security Service of Artsakh has released a statement regarding circulating information that senior officials have relocated their families from Artsakh to the Republic of Armenia.
“In light of the recent tensions along various sections of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani contact line, information has been circulated that some senior officials have moved their families from Artsakh to the Republic of Armenia. In order to clarify the veracity of such statements, the President of the Republic of Artsakh has instructed the National Security Service to conduct immediate investigations and report urgently on any such cases. According to the President, any such occurrences will undoubtedly be subject to public condemnation and political accountability. Otherwise, the existence of these false claims will be proven to pursue the goals of internal division, fostering a climate of discord among the public, and inciting internal enmity, especially at this crucial moment for national unity, which is, to say the least, unacceptable and undesirable.”
