Who Do Armenian Citizens Trust the Most? International Republican Institute Reveals Data
Our citizens in Armenia indicated, during a recent survey, that they are most satisfied with the activities of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia among state bodies. These findings come from the International Republican Institute (IRI)'s survey conducted in Armenia.
Specifically, according to the results of the survey conducted from November 22 to December 5, 2021, and published on January 31, 2022, 68% of participants expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Human Rights Defender. Notably, 35% were very satisfied, while 33% were somewhat satisfied.
The International Republican Institute also conducted a study regarding the opinions of Armenian residents on which institutions they trust the most for obtaining information about foreign policy, if such institutions exist. In this inquiry, citizens also expressed the highest level of trust in the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, with 25% of respondents indicating their confidence in this office.
