How to Deter Potential Russian Aggression Against Ukraine: US and Turkish Officials Hold Discussion
The US National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, had a phone conversation with the official representative of Turkey's leadership, Ibrahim Kalin. This was reported by TASS.
During the conversation, they discussed diplomatic cooperation with Russia, as well as joint efforts to deter “potential Russian aggression against Ukraine.” This information was shared in a statement released by Emily Horn, spokesperson for the National Security Council of the White House.
According to the source, Sullivan and Kalin also addressed “a number of regional issues, including Turkey's efforts aimed at normalizing relations with Armenia.”
