Salome Zurabishvili: "I hope Russia will not use the same aggression it once directed against Georgia"
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, expressed solidarity with Ukraine and stated her hope that Russia would not undertake aggressive actions against it, according to 1tv.ge.
During a meeting with the media, the Georgian president noted that aggressive actions never yield results. Zurabishvili hopes that the processes will shift to a dialogue-based approach.
"I want to express solidarity with Ukraine. I hope that Russia will not apply the same aggression that it once used against Georgia. These actions do not bring results. The world today is different; actions from the 20th century are already anachronistic. With this approach, we as a democratic world, Europe, cannot overcome the global threats that we all know exist. So, I hope that everything will move to a dialogue format," said Salome Zurabishvili.
