Individuals Engaged in the Sale of Sturgeon Species Detected

Efforts by the police to counter the illegal sale of sturgeon species during the prohibited breeding and harvesting period are ongoing. On January 13, through joint actions of the police divisions in Yerevan and the trade and advertising services of the city administration, individuals engaged in the sale of sturgeon species were detected in various administrative districts of the capital.

During the operation, a total of 234 illegally sold sturgeon were seized. Investigations are underway in all recorded cases.
