EU Representative on Meeting of Special Representatives from Armenia and Turkey
The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Georgia crisis, Toivo Klaar, commented on the meeting of the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey on his Twitter account, noting: “Encouraging news. The normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey and the opening of communications are important goals that the European Union fully supports.”
It is worth mentioning that the delegations of Armenia and Turkey have arrived at the Reception House of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow, where the first meeting of the special representatives of the two countries will take place regarding the normalization of bilateral relations. The special representative of Armenia is Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, while Turkey's representative is former Ambassador to the USA, Serdar Kılıç.
