NATO Ready to Reopen Its Office in Moscow
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization's meeting of the Russia-NATO Council has concluded at its headquarters in Brussels. This was reported by a correspondent from "RIA Novosti." The negotiations lasted more than four hours.
The Russian side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin. NATO was represented by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and representatives from the 30 allied member countries.
No statements have yet been made regarding the outcomes of the meeting; however, both sides have expressed their willingness to continue the dialogue. RIA reports that the NATO Secretary General has stated that NATO is ready to reopen its office in Moscow and is not setting preconditions for the restoration of the Russian mission's operations in Brussels.
