Alen Simonyan Dismisses Assistant from Position
The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, signed a decree on December 30 regarding the dismissal of his assistant.
The decision states: “Guided by Article 9, Part 10 of the Law on Public Service, and by point 1 of the decision No. AJC-006-L of the Council of the National Assembly dated June 12, 2017, and based on the application of Aghasi Margaryan dated December 14, 2021, I hereby decree the following: 1. From January 3, 2022, Aghasi Margaryan is relieved of his duties as the assistant to the President of the National Assembly. 2. The head of the National Assembly staff is instructed to ensure the full final settlement as prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia,” as noted in the decree.
It should be mentioned that Aghasi Margaryan was appointed as the assistant to the President of the National Assembly by Alen Simonyan’s decree dated October 14 of the previous year.
