Aliyev Raises Salaries for Military Personnel
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has signed decrees to increase the salaries of military personnel and civilian employees in the country’s security forces.
According to turan.az, starting from January 1, 2022, the salaries for employees of the Ministry of Defense, the State Security Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Presidential Security Service, the Special Communications Service, the State Border Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Main Department of Internal Troops, the State Customs Committee, and the Migration State Service will be increased by 20%. This salary increase applies to military personnel, specialists with special ranks, and civilian employees.
