Georgia Unacceptable with Presentation of Its Flag at '3+3' Format Meeting

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has expressed dissatisfaction with the presentation of the Georgian flag at the '3+3' format meeting held in Moscow on December 10.

In a statement from the Communications Department of the Ministry, it is noted, "The Georgian flag was presented at the '3+3' format meeting held in Moscow on December 10, which is, of course, unacceptable for us." The response has been communicated through appropriate diplomatic channels.

The statement emphasizes that Georgia has repeatedly declared its clear position regarding the '3+3' regional format, asserting that it will not discuss its participation in this format. The Ministry's message continues, "The presentation of the Georgian flag at the meeting held in Moscow on December 10 is, of course, unacceptable for us, to which we have responded through the appropriate diplomatic channels."

The first meeting of the '3+3' format took place in Moscow on December 10, attended by delegations from Turkey, Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, headed by Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs. A day before the meeting, the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement declaring that Georgia would not be present at the meeting.
