Who Has the Right to Use Drones in the Donbass Conflict Zone: Maria Zakharova
In the Donbass conflict zone, only OSCE observers have the right to use drones. This information was shared by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, on her Telegram channel while commenting on the latest incident in Donbass.
The OSCE mission noted in its report from November 6 that the organization's special monitoring mission's patrol service found itself in the strike zone of a drone in the outskirts of Bolotnoye, a settlement under Ukrainian control.
“OSCE observers found themselves in the strike zone of a drone belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The mission's report states that the explosion occurred 20-30 meters away from the patrol's location,” Zakharova noted.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Kyiv is violating the Minsk agreements by this action. “Paris and Berlin, which advocate for meetings in the Normandy format, can no longer pretend that they do not notice the reckless behavior of the Kyiv regime, which undermines previously reached agreements and, most importantly, the hopes for a peaceful life for the citizens of Ukraine,” Zakharova added.
