There Will Be No Road Connecting to Nakhichevan, Says Samvel Babayan
The former secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, Samvel Babayan, stated during an interview with Azatutyun that in the coming years, there will be no road connecting to Nakhichevan. He emphasized, 'Armenia is still opening the road to Nakhichevan today; Armenia has no problem. They specifically want to build a road through Meghri. Opening a communication line does not mean that they dictate how to build a road in your territory. I find that unbelievable. Azerbaijan is looking for a reason to say that the Armenians are not constructing that road, that we are not opening the roads.'
According to Samvel Babayan, even if the road were to open, there would be no threat to Armenia's security; the real danger lies in not having a strong army. More details in the video.
