New Airline in the Armenian Market
On October 27, 2021, the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia granted an air operator certificate to FLYONE ARMENIA. The airline has become a national operator and will soon be ready to commence its first flights. The issuance of this certificate allows FLYONE ARMENIA to maximize its efforts so that, in the near future, our citizens can travel to Europe and Asia at affordable prices and in the utmost safety conditions. This information was reported by the airline.
Currently, FLYONE ARMENIA has invested over 60 million euros in the Armenian market, contributing to the growth of the country's economy. The company also plans to create jobs with a team of more than 135 employees, offering above-average salaries. And this is just the initial phase of the startup; in the future, both the number of employees and the aircraft fleet will grow.
The airline’s fleet consists of Airbus A320 family aircraft. They are designed for 180 passengers and meet all standards of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and EASA Security. Additionally, amid pandemic conditions, the aircraft are equipped with HEPA air filters that eliminate 99.97% of viruses and bacteria.
From Yerevan Airport, the company will operate flights to Moscow, Tehran, Lyon, Kutaisi, Damascus, Krasnodar, Paris, Istanbul, and Tel Aviv.
“At this moment, we are in the sales launch phase and actively preparing for the inaugural flights of FLYONE ARMENIA. We eagerly await passengers on our aircraft,” said Mircha Malekan, the company’s CEO.
FLYONE ARMENIA will soon start selling tickets on its most demanded routes at incredibly low prices, promising numerous surprises in the near future. More detailed information about schedules and routes can be found on the website www.flyone.am or via the mobile application available on Google Play and the App Store.
