How the Unblocking of Communications Will Be Implemented: Mher Grigoryan Elaborates
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, will participate in the next meeting of the trilateral working group on the unblocking of communications in the region in Moscow.
Mher Grigoryan made this statement during a conversation with reporters within the framework of the plenary session of the 8th Russia-Armenia Interregional Forum.
Addressing the question of what issues will be discussed, Grigoryan noted that specific ideas have been formed regarding the railway aspect. "We have certain ideas and agreements regarding the fact that the regulations related to the unblocking will be implemented within the framework of the legal base of the CIS countries. We have questions to discuss regarding means of automotive communication and routes," Grigoryan stated.
When asked what Armenia's priorities are, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Armenia's priorities have been declared, which is the unblocking.
To the question of what specific routes are being discussed in the context of the unblocking, Grigoryan responded: "There are no specified options. I have said that the issue related to the railway is somewhat clearer within the framework of a restoration logic. The discussion is about restoring the lines that existed during the Soviet Union. All possible options are being discussed."
