Unprecedented Low Voter Turnout in Gyumri
As of 11:00 AM, very low voter turnout has been recorded in the Shirak region. This information is reported by the Central Election Commission's website.
Of a total of 109,453 voters, only 4,296, or 3.92 percent, had participated in the voting by 11:00 AM.
The head of polling station No. 31/46, Ara Nakhshqaryan, stated in a conversation with reporters that out of 1,664 voters in their polling station, only 150 had cast their votes. “I am dissatisfied only with the turnout; I have no other complaints. There have been no incidents; everything is normal, thank God,” he said.
