Situation Stabilized in Martuni Region, Russian Defense Ministry Reports

During the past day, a ceasefire violation was recorded in the Martuni region, reported the Russian Defense Ministry in an update on the activities of the peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh published yesterday evening.

"The situation has been stabilized by the Russian peacekeeping contingent, and measures have been taken to prevent further escalation," the report states.

The Russian military department also indicates that an investigation is underway.
