As Predicted, Iran-Azerbaijan Tensions Are Easing: Arman Abovyan
Former MP Arman Abovyan wrote on his Facebook page: "As we predicted, the Iran-Azerbaijan tensions are heading towards easing. The heads of the foreign ministries of Iran and Azerbaijan had a phone conversation during which they emphasized that disagreements should be resolved through dialogue.
Have their issues been resolved? No… Because neither did Israel withdraw from Azerbaijan, nor were the issues regarding the clear Syunik road solved. However, Iran’s military and diplomatic pressure has clearly demonstrated to all regional players that the Iranians have the will and capabilities to defend their interests by all means, and this is the main outcome for the Iranians. Therefore, nothing is finished yet; rather, it has entered a phase of chronic confrontation."
