There Are Questions Related to Karabakh: Erdoğan's Spokesman's Statement
Turkey's presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalın expressed hope that if a peace agreement is signed between Baku and Yerevan, it will bring peace to the entire region, according to yenisafak.com.
"There are questions related to Karabakh that need to be resolved. A ceasefire agreement has been signed, but there is still no peace agreement," Kalın stated in an interview with Haber Global.
"The peace agreement will also benefit the Armenian economy. It will bring peace to the entire region, and this is the most appropriate approach," the Turkish official asserted.
Kalın also noted that if the peace agreement is signed quickly and technical issues, such as the transfer of maps of minefields, are resolved, the process could accelerate.
"This conflict should have ended, and it is now over," Kalın concluded.
