What Makes the Turkish Bayraktar TB3 Strike Drone Stand Out, with Its First Flight Scheduled for 2022
The first flight of the Turkish new strike drone, Bayraktar TB3, is scheduled for 2022. This was reported by the Anadolu Agency.
“Looking to the future, we can see the Bayraktar TB3 concept. This drone, under satellite control, can cover thousands of kilometers. It is an offensive drone that is slightly larger than the Bayraktar TB2 and smaller than the Akıncı UAV,” said Selçuk Bayraktar, Chief Technology Officer of Baykar Technologies.
The drone is distinguished by its capability to take off and land on naval vessels with short runways, a feature that is not found in many equivalents worldwide,” Bayraktar expressed hope that the Bayraktar TB3 will achieve its first flight in 2022.
