Negotiations with Gazprom Regarding Gas Prices Continue: Mher Grigoryan
Negotiations regarding gas prices between Armenia and Russia are ongoing. This was stated today in Yerevan by the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, during a briefing with journalists on the sidelines of the Armenia-Russia business forum.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Gazprom's president, Alexey Miller. “For now, I do not consider it possible to say anything regarding the possible price of gas at the border,” said Grigoryan.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the issue remains relevant for Armenia. Grigoryan promised to provide more information on the results of the negotiations later.
We hope that we will be able to maintain the gas price. Negotiations with Gazprom are ongoing.
It is worth reminding that on September 15, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated in the National Assembly that the negotiations mainly revolve around maintaining the gas price and not increasing it, although Gazprom insists that the level of profitability stipulated in the 2013 agreement does not satisfy them.
