Tsarukyan on Processes Leading to Government Resignation
I have said that I will go until the end, and I have gone until the end. Up to the last moment, I have presented my views, my vision, and my program. This is what the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, mentioned in a conversation with journalists today, referring to the observation that after the elections, he had stated that he would demand 100 percent resignation of the government until the end.
When asked if he still demands the government’s resignation, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party did not provide a clear answer: “Now there are such opposition forces that are more radical, and they say that this issue is beyond our control. We are ready to say and present our stance. But they said that the opposition we represent was weaker in comparison.”
Responding to the question of whether the Prosperous Armenia Party would join any political force if such processes occur, Tsarukyan replied, “The Prosperous Armenia Party will not join anyone. The Prosperous Armenia Party is in its place, engaged in its affairs, constructively, not in a way that benefits from any negative developments. Today, anyone living in this country should be able to utilize their opportunities for the benefit of their country and people. Not to rejoice when something bad happens. Those living in this country should take pride in the strengthening of the economy and the state.”
